You’ll go from seeing problems to having clear pathway to the outcomes you want. In this interactive journal, you’ll explore your current feelings about the problem on your mind, but then quickly transition into defining the future you want. By focusing on what you want and outlining concrete steps to get there, Creator Canvas guides you on a path toward the life you want.

When to use it

Creative Canvas works well if you are feeling overwhelmed by a challenging situation and are not sure how to make things better. You may be feeling frustrated, angry, or even resentful. This tool will help you step into your own power and agency to take positive action to drive lasting outcomes.

How it works

Creator Canvas is a structured journaling exercise that asks you to reflect and respond honestly to a series of nine questions. The questions are as follows:

1. What problem is on your mind?

2. What feelings to do you have about it?

3. Let's reframe this. What outcome do you want? Let yourself think big. State this in terms of what you want rather than what you DON’T want.

4. What would it look like to successfully achieve this outcome? If you achieved it, how would you know it? What would it feel like?

5. What’s currently working that could help you achieve this vision? This could be your own skills and abilities, other people, etc.

6. What’s not working well? This could be problems or even your own feelings about the situation. Don't add drama or spin - just acknowledge these as obstacles that may lie ahead.

7. Now, let’s start listing out some possible next steps you could take to start closing the gap between your reality and your vision. What baby steps could you take within the next 30 days that are 100% within your control?
